Full-Time Senior Position – Assistant Managing Director

Camp Hurontario, a long established private children’s summer camp headquartered in Toronto and spectacularly located on extensive properties on Georgian Bay, is looking for candidates for the full-time position of Assistant Managing Director. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director, Pauline Marston and with Hurontario’s outstanding staff team in providing an excellent camping program and in being involved in all aspects of running the Camp. Accommodation and all meals will be provided during the camping season. This is an exceptional opportunity for candidates with great people and camping skills and a love of the outdoors. It is also an exceptional opportunity for candidates with outdoor education training or experience. Start date and salary are open for discussion. Who works at Hurontario?

Hurontario’s counselling staff is comprised of former campers with an average of nine summers at the camp. With over 85 percent of our staff members returning to the camp every year, campers benefit from a knowledgeable, creative staff well-known to the directors. In addition to our counselling staff, a highly-skilled instructional staff provides expertise in specific programme areas. The staff at the camp ranges in age from 16 (counsellors-in-training) to 24. Staff members are energetic, motivated and committed to teaching kids, camping, and the out of doors.
